About

Tab Hauser retired from business after 32 years and 18 years as a volunteer village council official to pursue journalism. He publishes his stories and photos in newspapers, magazines, online travel , and trade publications. While living on Long Island, local newspapers and magazines regularly called upon him to cover newsworthy events. His photos and stories captured the front page in over 100 issues of the Port Washington and City of Glen Cove newspapers. He wrote dozens of stories for Long Island Boating World and had front-page and photo spreads in the Long Island Press.

Although technically still freelance, he is a Senior Travel Writer for GoNomad.com, a leading online travel publication. His travels have taken him to seven continents and over 100 countries or unique locations. His writing style immerses readers in the travel experience, often detailing local food, wine, beer, and spirits.
